Indiana Land Cruisers,

We have two scheduled events coming up in October and we're trying to add a third in September for a gravel run around Yellowwood / Hoosier National Forest.

October 5th (Saturday) - YOTAMOBILIA at Ed Martin Toyota

Our 6th annual Land Cruiser Meet and Greet and largest event of the year.
12:00PM - 3:00PM

Bring your camp chairs, kids, and dogs. Spend a few hours with similar-minded Toyota 4x4 enthusiasts and make some new friends!
We will have a "sweets" food truck here. Little Bugs Sweets serving cotton candy, ice cream sundays, cheesecake bites, snow cones, and lemonade. Also we will be selling Land Cruiser doggie treats by Pet Lovers Organic Dog Treats.
Please RSVP here.

October 26th / 27th (Saturday / Sunday) - Dunewood Camping at Indiana Dunes National Park

We will be meeting up 3-hours North or Indy on Lake Michigan at Dunewood Campground at Indiana Dunes National Park.

We have twelve (12) vehicle / tent spots reserved right now, but we are not limited to adding more as needed. We reserved six (6) spots allowing two (2) vehicles per site maximum. You can venture up solo or we will probably get a convoy from the Northside of Indy and chatter on the GMRS the way up. We'll want to get there around 2-4PM. We will have a feast and relax till evening around a campfire. Then head back Sunday after breakfast.
Please RSVP here.

Indiana Land Cruisers,

First off, THANK YOU so much for being a part of Indiana Land Cruisers (INLC)! INLC is now an official club both with the TLCA as well as the IRS and the State of Indiana.

It took about 12-months to make it official, but it’s final here!

Although we’ve already had about 15 events since we started this club, we were intentional on not collecting any money because we have been working with the IRS to become a 501(c)(7) non-profit so membership dues would not be subject to taxation. This process was finalized this week. We plan to collect membership dues of $30 per year for any family who wants to join. This $30 will be used for events and swag and anything left over will be donated to causes that align with our mission statement (see below).

Any club is only as good as the amount of participation of its members and the efforts given. Below is a list of what the club has undertaken in its first year. We’re proud of the traction we have right now but we need more help to do fun events and grow.

With that said, 2023 was truly a great year for INLC. Here is a list of our recent activities:

2023

  • Two group campouts in Southern Indiana / Hoosier National Park
  • Two trips to the Badlands Off Road Park
  • Two meet ups at West Fork Distillery
  • Two breakfast grill outs at Red Bridge Park
  • 6th Annual Yotamobilia at Ed Martin Toyota (50+ guests)
  • Group camping at Klumpe Campground
  • Christmas barn party

2024

  • Winter camping in Hoosier National Forest
  • Breakfast grill out at Red Bridge
  • Sunday drive to Duesenberg Museum
  • Total Solar Eclipse watch party at Ed Martin Toyota + grill out

With all that behind us, we are looking forward to many more events this year and a few are already scheduled:

Mission Statement

  • To promote and encourage Toyota four-wheel driving activities and trips for members to enjoy the out-of-doors and the comradeship of off road travel and exploration.
  • To provide four-wheel drive training for members in a safe and controlled environment.
  • To promote safe and responsible off-roading, camping and enjoyment of the outdoors with particular regard to the leave no trace philosophy.
  • To promote, encourage and support the interests of drivers of four-wheel drive vehicles.

The biggest thing we could use help with is:

Organizing Events: We would like a committee of 2 or 4 people to help organize 10-12 events per year

Board of Directors: We will need a few seats to fill that will require approximately 45 minutes time per month to do your duties.

Treasurer: Someone who can reconcile expenses and files a tax return (must know Excel/Google Sheets)

Secretary: Someone to record our monthly quorum (which will probably involve some kind of food/beer/both). Knowledge of Robert’s Rules. But this will be informal yet enough order for what we need.

Membership Director: Someone tech savvy, we currently use Google Looker Studio / Google Sheets. Will need to have access to our Facebook account and Text Magic account to communicate.

If you choose to help us with any of these rolls (BOD or organizing events committee), please reach out and contact us.

We would greatly appreciate your help!
