Hoosier National Forest Clean-up Day
Event Sponsor: TJ Keene

Please join INLC for a day of community service on April 13th 2025.

We will be bagging and picking up small trash in Hoosier National Forest. This will be primarily focused to dispersed camp sights, as we want to ensure they remain clean and open. There are over 200 primitive sites broken into seven sections in the forest.

This event is open to anyone willing to help; members or non-members, kids or adults, we're looking for as many people as willing to help.

We plan to start at 9:30 AM and finish around 1:30 PM.

Meet up spot and lunch will be at Blackwell Horse Camp (Cope Hollow Trail, Heltonville, IN 47436)
Remember to bring gloves and safety glasses!

Depending on turn out, we'll split into teams and focus on small trash collections. We will bag up as much as possible and have a trash service pick up the bags around 2:00PM. We're planning to have a communal BYO-lunch around 11:30AM.

Please join us for a fun and rewarding day of giving back to one of Indiana's top national treasures.
